All of Us Research Program

From March 27th – March 31st, The Freedom Center for Social Justice & The Hispanic Federation will be working with the All of Us Research Program, bringing DNA testing services to Charlotte NC for marginalized populations! The future of health in America should reflect ALL OF US. Plus, your DNA can tell you about your genetic ancestors! Taking part is free and confidential. The program also features interactive activities, videos, games, quizzes, and more! The Freedom Center will also be hosting RAIN for free HIV testing during these times.

The Hispanic Federation will also be filing applications for a Food and Farmworker Relief program. The program is a one-time payment of $600 for farmworkers from the US Department of Agriculture, regardless of legal status. To be eligible, you must be a farmworker who worked anytime between January 27, 2020, until the end of the Covid-19 pandemic, and present an identification, such as a work ID, and proof of employment. You will also be able to register to vote. Come out an join us!
